As I was looking over the photos from the concert, I wasn’t immediately drawn to this image as much as I was to the rest until I noticed that his other hand was over his heart. I’m not quite sure how to put into words why that makes this photograph matter more to me, but Matty’s performance and his attitude were so genuine and I felt how truly appreciative he was of his fans. And as increasingly popular as they are, I think that’s something that will never change.
